Enterprise Holdings Foundation Donates $2500 to DCI Donor Services for Donor Memorial Fund

Nashville, Tenn. — The Enterprise Holdings Foundation has donated $2500.00 to DCI Donor Services, Inc. (DCIDS) for its Donor Memorial Fund.  The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the company that, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.

“We are very proud to accept this donation and pleased that Enterprise Holdings Foundation recognizes the important work that we do at DCIDS and through our family of organizations, said DCIDS Chief Financial Officer, Teresa Thompson, CPA.  There is still much to do, as thousands of people are still in need of an organ transplant.”

DCIDS’ Donor Memorial Fund was established and designated to recognize and honor the important choice made by thousands who signed-up to be an organ, tissue or eye donor on their state’s donor registry.  The impact that organ and tissue donation has is recognized throughout the year by DCIDS efforts involving public education, donor family programs and special presentations made to thank families for honoring the wishes of their loved one.

“In working with DCIDS, we realized in conjunction with the personal experiences of one of our local executives who was in need of an organ transplant, the type of work done across the states of Tennessee, New Mexico and California – which are also communities that we serve,” said Dustin McCroskey, Business Development Manager with Enterprise Fleet Management.  “We have the honor of helping DCIDS fulfill its purpose – to save and enhance lives – and that is immeasurable.  This donation is an opportunity for our organization to say ‘thank you’ for the tremendous work that you do.”
