Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is pleased and excited to invite businesses, corporations, hospitals and organizations to join the Department of Health and Human Services Workplace Partnership for Life. This initiative recognizes the workplace as an ideal setting in which to educate Americans about the critical need for donation of organs, tissues, bone marrow, stem cells and blood. Companies are encouraged to identify specific educational activities that are suitable to their workplace. Activities can range from simply posting donor-related information in break rooms to organizing a donor drive for employees. Additional information about the Workplace Partnership for Life and ideas for implementation can be found in this packet on the “Ideas for Implementing the Workplace Partnership for Life” page or may be accessed by visiting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website at www.organdonor.gov. We encourage you to join other employers in this endeavor to help thousands of Americans in need of lifesaving transplants. By making donation information available to your employees, you have the power to save lives! To enroll your company as a member of the Workplace Partnership for Life, simply fill out the Sign-Up Sheet contained in this packet and mail it in OR visit www.organdonor.gov , look for the Donate Life logo (like the one above) and click on “Sign-Up Form” under the heading “Key Elements”.
