Local advisory boards play an integral role at DCIDS.  Advisory Board recommendations regarding organ allocation, donor criteria, ethical issues, public education and financial reviews are essential in tailoring the service of our local organizations.

Each DCIDS location has a Medical Director who fulfills an important role at DCIDS.   Each Medical Director is a specialist in organ, tissue or eye banking, who works closely with DCIDS staff to ensure that donor screening and management protocols are medically sound.  DCIDS Medical Directors participate with staff in reviewing all referrals and donor activities to identify practices that improve the clinical services we provide.
