Nashville, Tenn. — DCI Donor Services, Inc. (DCIDS) has named Wayne Dunlap as Executive Director of New Mexico Donor Services (NMDS), the nonprofit, federally designated organ procurement organization serving the citizens of New Mexico. In this role, Dunlap will oversee and guide all efforts of the organization to save and enhance lives in the state through donation and transplantation.
“We are thrilled to expand Wayne’s responsibilities with our leadership team,” said Jill Grandas, RN, CPTC, Corporate Executive Director of DCIDS. “He has extensive experience in the industry and offers strong operational background, as well as strategic insight. We are confident that he will provide excellent leadership to our staff in New Mexico.”
Prior to his promotion to Executive Director, Dunlap served as Operations Director for NMDS bringing with him extensive leadership experience. Dunlap served as the Director of Organ Donation Services at LifeCenter Northwest in Bellevue, Wash., where he directed and oversaw all organ recovery operations and was an Organ Procurement Director at Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank in Portland, Ore. He has organized practices and procedures for organ recovery, throughout his career, and actively participated in national committees on policies and standards in the industry.

Dunlap began his career as an ICU nurse at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. He received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Boise State University.
