Tennessee Donor Services – Chattanooga serves 13 counties in southeastern Tennessee. They include Bledsoe, Bradley, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Moore, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie Counties TDS-Chattanooga’s critical care RN organ recovery coordinators provide organ and tissue recovery services to 25 area hospitals. Hospital services staff provides professional education to medical personnel and develops donation policies and procedures for our hospital partners. Our public education staff strives to increase awareness about the critical need for organ and tissue donors through their community services. Our physician directors help us build cooperative relationships with area physicians who are integral to the donation process. Together, the TDS-Chattanooga staff is dedicated to maximizing the quality and quantity of donated organs and tissues that we recover for the 80,000-plus people on the waiting list for lifesaving transplants. Above all, we are committed to caring for the donor families who make the gift of life possible.

By donating $1.00 when you renew your
vehicle's license tags, you can help educate others about the critical need for organ
and tissue donations through the Tennessee County Clerks "HELP RENEW
LIVES" campaign. If you mail in your renewal, simply add $1 to
the registration charge and check the appropriate box indicating your are
“adding a dollar for donor awareness”.
If you visit your local County Clerk, you may be asked if you would like
to donate a dollar for donor awareness; if not, simply tell the staff member you
would like to do so. Together we CAN save lives!
