DCI Donor Services is seeking an In-House Consent Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for candidates who:

Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold:

  1. Responds to appropriate hospital referrals within designated time outlined. Assess donor registries to determine prior authorization for donation.
  2. Supports families who are often in an acute grief state to provide options regarding organ, eye, and tissue donation for transplant, research and education.
  3. Documents all hospital activities and potential donor family interactions as close to real time as possible in TDS/DCIDS database.

  5. Works in conjunction with TDS Hospital Services Coordinator to address referral and donation process issues in a timely manner to collaboratively resolve issues with hospital.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  1. Minimum of 2-year degree in a health field, nursing or paramedic certification/or one-year health care related experience.
  2. Healthcare experience with families, counseling or crisis intervention preferred.
  3. RN or LPN preferred.
  4. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
